Our strength component today will help with mastering technique using multiple snatch movements. The 3 initial movements prepare you for the full snatch, take a few seconds before doing that and drop into the catch fast.
Strength:
- Snatch complex, for 8 minutes, at the start of each minute, perform 1 rep each of;
- Hang power snatch
- Overhead squat
- Hang squat snatch
- Snatch (from the floor, full squat)
W.O.D.
- 5 Thruster (50/35)
- 5 Power snatch
- 30 Double under
10 minutes, as many rounds as possible
Choose a weight that you can do unbroken through most of the workout. Decrease double under volume if required to complete them under 1 minute.
